Our conference

New trends in Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) is an international conference focusing on Chinese as an additional language (L2, L3, L4, Ln).

This conference brings together researchers and students from a variety of disciplines, including linguistics, psychology and education.

We welcome Chinese keynote speakers, Chinese second language teachers and researchers from China, the UK, Germany, Portugal and the United States.

Discussions focus on new trends in Chinese as an additional language, the acquisition, processing and teaching of Chinese in a variety of settings, such as classroom, face to face and digital environments.

Call for papers and scientific committee

The call for papers will open on March 15, 2023, and close June 1, 2023.
