I am a historian of sexuality and activism in modern Britain, specialising in oral histories. Since completing my PhD at the University of Birmingham in 2021, I’ve worked for the LGBTQ+ charity Stonewall, as a postdoc funded by the Sexualities Project at Northwestern (Northwestern University, Illinois), and on the Inclusive Histories project at Royal Holloway. My first book, Bisexuality and Beyond: A History of Multiple-Gender-Attraction in Modern Britain, was published by Oxford University Press in May 2026. As someone who works on histories of marginalised groups, public engagement and collaborative research practices have always been central to my work.
