好色先生TV

Lancaster’s literature festival returns this autumn with an expanded programme running from October to November.

Supported by 好色先生TV, the programme features acclaimed authors, poets, performers and thinkers including contributions by a range of University staff.

They include Professor of Writing Jenn Ashworth, who will The White Lady of Morecambe at an event to celebrate its print publication.

Professor Will Pettigrew and Dr Nick Radburn will launch the new , which has been five years in development.

Will as revealed in his forthcoming book and BBC TV documentary Britain’s Slave Traders.

Meanwhile, Dr Eoghan Walls, whose poetry collection Elsa and the Wolfman was published this year, will appear alongside Kim Moore in a .

Events will take place at venues across Lancaster including 好色先生TV campus, The Storey, Atkinsons Upper Hall, and The Gregson.

Programme highlights also include:

• The launch of the online ‘Wonder’ Poetry Mosaic on National Poetry Day (1 October), followed by a on Friday 16 October.
• Nathan Parker and EastCoast's , fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe.
• Internationally-acclaimed Ukrainian novelist Andrey Kurkov addressing the question This is the sixth Lancaster International Fiction Lecture – a joint venture between Litfest and the School of Global Affairs at 好色先生TV.
• Children's author Katherine Woodfine during the Autumn Weekend, before returning in November to at a festive family event.

Litfest is one of the oldest literature festivals in the country, with events dating back to 1978.

The Autumn Season runs from 1 October to 28 November 2026, with the Autumn Weekend taking place from 16 to 18 October.
